I didn't even realize that it was something they did on purpose. I just thought it was lag or something. It is very annoying and I'd like to see it changed back.

Actually giving themselves the trouble to facilitate a first-person perspective on an essentially strategic game, and in the process, making things more annoying to the majority of players who wouldn't even bother to use it?

Now, that's funny...

After reading this thread I'm convinced there is a direct connection between Guild Wars and OCD.

How about a hotkey for first person perspective. That way 1 touch in and out of first person. That way they can keep the little delay they seem to like so much.

this change is so annoying! i have to scroll twice to get out of first person. in the long run while i pvp it makes my finger sore... theres this place where i hide from ranged attaks and i have to scroll in. scrolling out is damn annoying now.

it was a pointless update that just breated an inconvenience. i hope they change it to the normal smooth way it was.

First person play in GW is practically useless anyway, it stings and burns your eyes playing in first person (getting nuked anyone?) and also it makes you lag like no other.. And all together it's just not that tactical. that's just my opinion, but yeah i guess gap-scroll thing is a tad bit on the annoying side but i don't care about it really.

Seems a silly thing to spend programming time "fixing" something that didn't really seem broken in the first place.

it was a bit too sensitive before, but they did go way overboard on the "fix"

People actually play in first-person?

/signed. Annoying change, when I accidentally scroll in too far.

Lol just hold down your mouse wheel and move the mouse up, you can get as close as you want without fully going in.. (if your mouse can do that).

My mouse doesn't work that way anymore after the update. I tried and it doesn't do anything at all. I am curious if they removed that aspect of it as well as add the gap. Sucks.

I don't see how anyone can play in first person... how do you see what's going on around you? Anyways, noticed the change but thought it was my piece of junk mouse! Annoying yes, but nothing I can't get over.

It was a very annoying nerf/update and one that wasn't needed nor wanted at all. Completely unnecessary. Should be reverted. Old system far more comfortable... need i repeat more?

The new way is driving me up the wall. I can't do any fine tuning it feels like. It was a lot easier to zoom. :P
